The mountain resort of Pamporovo, located in the Rhodope Mountains, has woken up to 15 cm of fresh snow, the Mountain Rescue Service said.
Currently, there is 45 cm of snow on the ski runs, the BNR-Plovdiv reports. Tourists can use 6 ski runs and 4 ski lifts. More ski runs are expected to open in the coming days. The resort saw the first snowfall since the beginning of 2023 after the unusually warm weather at the end of December.
