Asked by a journalist about his choice to hand the third mandate to the parliamentary group of the "BSP for Bulgaria", Head of State Rumen Radev said that he was looking for the party with the best chances to form a government.
In his words, the Socialists have remained in dialogue, have not been hastilly drawing red lines and in many cases have shown that they are ready for compromises and solutions that would be acceptable to most parties in parliament.

Asked about the continuity in politics, the President said that "the caretaker cabinet is trying to make the most of all chances to work for the good of Bulgaria." He said all other governments should follow "politics as the art of seizing opportunities".
