Already before the third cabinet-forming mandate was handed out, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) had highlighted several key priorities including Bulgaria’s Schengen membership, the country's accession to the Eurozone, implementation of EU programmes, judicial reform and financial stability.
Some of them coincide with the priorities announced by the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Kornelia Ninova- the 2023 state budget, Bulgaria's accession to Schengen, the legislation connected with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the renegotiation of the plan pertaining to the energy sector, judicial reform, etc, the Chairman of the parliamentary group of DPS Yordan Tsonev said in Parliament. In his words, the third cabinet-forming mandate, which was handed to the socialists, is not doomed to failure, if the parties engage in dialogue.
