Weather forecast: Heavy rain warnings in 11 regions of Eastern Bulgaria

On Friday minimum temperatures will range from minus 1°C., in Western Bulgaria to 8-9° C. in the Eastern part of the country, for Sofia around zero. Skies will continue cloudy. In Eastern Bulgaria and along the River Danube there will be heavy rain. By evening the snow will resume in Western and Central Northern Bulgaria. Daytime highs will reach 1-6° C., for Sofia 2° C.

Over the mountains there will be light snow which will increase by evening. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. minus 1° C., at 2,000 m. around minus 4° C.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be significant rain. Maximum temperature 9-10° C, temperature of the seawater 8-9° C., sea state 4.

On Saturday, there will be rain and snow over the entire territory of the country with the exception of Rila and the Rhodopes.
