Gas is 31% cheaper in February

Photo: BGNES

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission approved the price of natural gas for February at BGN 124.34/MWh (EUR 63.46/MWh), excluding access, transmission, excise and VAT.

This is 31% lower than the January price of BGN 179.33/MWh (EUR 91.51/MWh). The main reason is the drop in stock indices on international gas markets as a result of the mild weather and high level of gas storage in Europe.
