The donation campaign continues

Bulgarian Red Cross raises 300,000 euro for earthquake-hit areas

More than 300,000 euros have been collected so far on the national account of the Bulgarian Red Cross, together with the text messages sent to phone number 1466, for the people affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. 

The bank account details are announced on the organization's website

Donation boxes have been placed in all municipal councils of the Bulgarian Red Cross across the country and where there are none - in the town halls, so that those who wish can donate. 

The district council of the Bulgarian Red Cross has announced its first corporate donor, a machine-building company from Dzhebel and its owner, on whose behalf 25,000 euros were transferred.


Everybody wishing to help can send a text message (SMS) to number 1466 (worth BGN 1) for all mobile operators.

To support the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the earthquake, you can also make a bank transfer to the special bank account:
