For a second day earthquake in Romania felt in Bulgaria

An earthquake was felt in Sofia and in Ruse at around 3.20 PM on 14 February.

The earthquake of 5.7 magnitude on the Richter scale was registsred in Romania at 3.16 PM local time, with epicenter in Oltenia, Vâlcea County in Western Romania. The earthquake was followed by aftershocks reaching 4.9 on the Richter scale; they too were felt in Bulgaria and in Serbia. There is no data of casualties or damage.

An earthquake with epicenter again in Romania was also felt in some Bulgarian cities on the Danube on 13 February.
