G7 reaffirm their unwavering commitment to support Ukraine

Russia has committed “crimes against humanity” during its war in Ukraine, the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris said at the Munich Security Conference”, AFP reported. “And I say all those who have perpetrated these crimes, and to their superiors who are complicit in those crimes, you will be held to account”, Kamala Harris said further. At a foreign ministers' meeting in Munich, the G7 countries reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron said that he wanted Russia to be defeated in its war with Ukraine, but did not want to see the country "crushed".

China will present its own proposal for a political settlement of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the country’s top diplomat Wang Yi told the Munich Security Conference. He did not provide any details and did not specify when this would happen. From Munich, Wang Yi will go directly to Moscow. The US has been monitoring possible increased support for Russia from China “very closely”, the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, the CNN reported.
