A month before the arrival of the astronomical spring, the first stork flew into the village of Podkrepa in Haskovo, BTA reported. The harbinger of spring landed in a nest next to the local church "Saint Prophet Elijah" and began repairing it in anticipation of his partner. According to the deputy mayor of the village, Tatyana Georgieva, last year the bird returned from Africa on the fourth of March. There are a total of four stork nests in the village.
