Russian TV channels air fake missile alerts

"Broadcasting of several TV channels and radio stations were hacked in Moscow and Leningrad region of Russia and occupied Crimea. Aired missile attack alerts", liveumap.com reported. Meanwhile, the wreckage of three unmanned aerial vehicles was found in Belgorod, Russia, Mayor Valentin Demidov said. One of the drones crashed into the window of an apartment complex.

Ukraine has issued an air raid alert in Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The situation in Bakhmut area which is at the centre of the Russian offensive in Eastern Ukraine, remains extremely tense. According to the commander of the Ukrainian ground forces, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, despite significant losses, the most prepared Wagner assault units are trying to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops and encircle the town, the Bulgarian News Agency BTA reported. Russia is trying to cut the Ukrainian defenders’ supply lines to the city, the scene of some of the war’s toughest fighting. That would give Russia its first major prize in more than half a year and open the way to the capture of the last remaining urban centres in the Donetsk region. “The southern part of Bakhmut is the only area which can be described as under Ukrainian control. In all other districts, the situation is unpredictable” Ukraine’s military analyst Oleh Zhdanov said.
