A Kuwaiti book corner was inaugurated today at the National Library in Sofia by the Director of the National Library Associate Professor Dr. Krasimira Alexandrova and the Ambassador of Kuwait to Bulgaria H.E. Ghazi Al-Fadhli.

The tradition of opening book corners in Bulgaria's largest public library started at the end of 2021 with the first three opened jointly with the national libraries and the embassies of Slovenia, Nigeria and Azerbaijan.

Today there are 15 corners, located on the second floor and presenting the literature and culture of different countries. The books are donated and become part of the National Library's collection.
