Bulgaria registers 60 new Covid cases for a day, no deaths

There were 60 new coronavirus cases registered in Bulgaria yesterday after 2,683 tests, according to official data. 2% of tests returned positive result. Half of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. Most of the new cases are in Sofia – 18, followed by in Pleven - 7, and Ruse - 5. There are 226 coronavirus patients in hospitals as 26 of them are in intensive care. 18 patients were hospitalized yesterday.

There were no coronavirus- related deaths on Wednesday, while the number of recoveries reached 47. The number of active cases is 2,987, which is nearly 200 cases more than a week ago. No one got vaccinated against coronavirus yesterday. There are 2,075,993 people in Bulgaria with completed immunization.
