Interior Minister: Surprises expected when announcing the names of politicians accused of corruption

"Part of the proceedings for corruption among political figures conducted in Bulgaria are under the supervision of the European Prosecutor's Office, which means the misuse of European funds," caretaker Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev told BNR.

He added that this also applies to problems identified during quality inspections of road surfaces.
According to the minister, it is not about people from only one political force and there will be a surprise when their names are announced.

"We are testing sufficiently large sections of the roads and what is found is disturbing - lack of sufficient laid material, non-compliance with technological standards, used materials of low quality", said Ivan Demerdzhiev.

According to him, explanations that the thickness of the asphalt pavement has decreased due to wear and tear are ridiculous and can hardly mislead a sane person.
