Between 730 and 740 polling stations will be set up in 62 countries for the 2 April election for parliament, Kalin Atanassov from the Foreign Ministry’s “Election” working group announced.

A little over 160 polling stations are to be set up in Turkey, 115 in Great Britain, 64 in Spain, 56 in USA, 26 in Italy, around 20 in Greece and around 16 in France. Germany has set down a limit of up to 40 polling places, and not all proposals by Bulgarians there will be accepted. The number of applications submitted in Germany are for close to 74 polling places.

240-410 voting machines are expected to be sent abroad - to 240 polling stations in 22 countries on 3 continents. The Central Election Commission is to decide the exact number and the location of the polling stations by 11 March.
