Germany and Austria remain among the preferred countries for Bulgarian youth who want to continue their higher education abroad, while Belgium has replaced the Netherlands on the top position. Sweden, Finland and Denmark follow next. This became clear after the "Education for a successful career" forum, which was held in Burgas.

Japan is also gaining popularity among Bulgarian students, as scholarships for excellent results can reach 100% funding of tuition fees. Among the most sought-after specialties are medicine, psychology, engineering sciences, IT, digital marketing, cyber security, BNR Burgas reported.
