Decline in number of Covid cases marked on a weekly basis

There were 167 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day. A week ago, there were 181 newly infected. Over 58.6% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. 4.14% of 4,037 tests performed were positive, compared to 5.75% of the indicator on Monday, according to the coronavirus.bg portal.

The number of registered patients increased by 44 to 2,794. A week ago they were 2,996. Yesterday, 41 patients were admitted to hospitals, 31 of them or 75.61% were not vaccinated. The total number of hospitalized patients increased by 10 to 255 as 25 patients remain in intensive care.

One patient with Covid who had not been immunized passed away. On Monday, 122 patients recovered and 195 vaccine doses were administered.
