An international company is starting the construction of a factory for the production of armoured vehicles in Burgas, which will create 300 jobs. The investment is over 10 million euros. The assembly of the first machines will begin in 2024. The company plans to build more factories in Bulgaria, but has decided that the first one will be near the Black Sea port of Burgas.

"Burgas is a very convenient place, as it is on the sea, and most of these machines, since they are military, are transported by water, and this not only eases the transport, it makes it cheaper," owner Anton Stefov told BNR. There are over 160 models offered by the manufacturer, from collection trucks and combat vehicles to limousines.

Businessmen from the UAE, Turkey and the USA have been invited to the turning of the first sod.
