The Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) decided to revoke the operating license of Euroins Romania, part of Bulgaria’s Euroins Insurance Group and file a court request for the launch of bankruptcy proceedings. The company was a leading insurer in the third party liability segment in Romania. At an emergency press conference, the Chairman of the Board of Euroins Insurance Group Assen Hristov said that this was an organised attack on the company and that the company would appeal against the decision.

Euroins Insurance Group is part of Eurohold Bulgaria, which acquired the assets of CEZ Bulgaria and now the electric company operates under the name "Electrohold".
