Chinese president Xi Jinping will embark on a three-day trip to Moscow in an apparent show of support for Vladimir Putin, “The Telegraph” reported. Russian President Vladimir Putin will be looking more than ever for a show of solidarity from his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping when he welcomes him to Moscow on Monday, Reuters reported. Xi will be the first world leader to shake Putin’s hand since the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for the Russian leader on Friday.

White House Spokesperson John Kirby told Fox News that any call by Putin and Xi for a ceasefire now would be unacceptable, because it would simply "ratify Russia's conquest to date."
