Astronomical spring begins today in Bulgaria at 23:24 local time. This is also the day of the spring equinox, reports the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.

On the occasion of the astronomical spring in Stara Zagora, a LED board in the city centre will start to announce in real time the arrival of newborns in the city with a sound signal, the time of birth and the baby's first name, reports Elena Balabanova from Radio Stara Zagora. The board will show the total number of babies born in Stara Zagora since the beginning of the year.
