The Bulgarian government has informed the European Commission that the implementation of the Just Transition Plan will not start this year. This was announced by the Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira. In her words, Bulgaria is among the EU countries where carbon pollution per unit of output is extremely high - three times above the EU average. "The transition is happening and the process of closure of some activities is natural", said Commissioner Ferreira.
