Good conditions for hiking in Bulgarian mountains

Photo: Mountains and People

In the mountains, the conditions for hiking today are favourable, the temperatures are positive - between 0° and 8°, informs the Mountain Rescue Service. The warming in recent days has affected the snow cover, which has decreased quite a bit, but nevertheless the facilities and ski slopes in the resorts are working.

Later in the day, the weather is expected to deteriorate and Mountain Rescue Service recommends that tourists monitor the forecast and comply with it.

The forecast of the National Weather Institute predicts rain in the massifs in Western Bulgaria, and by the evening in Central Bulgaria, and snow on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin.
