The winner in Sunday’s election for parliament remains unclear, a survey by Trend agency shows.
The margin between GERB-SDS and We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria is 0.3%, at 26.4% and 26.1% respectively.
The margin between third and fourth place is half a percent, with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms garnering 13.7% and Vazrazhdane – 13.3%. Fifth comes Bulgarian Socialist Party for Bulgaria with 7.3%.
At 3.6%, the Left stand the highest chance of clearing the 4% electoral threshold, followed by Bulgarian Rise with 3.5% and There Is Such a People with 3%.
5.2% of the respondents say they will choose the option “I support no one”. 48% say they will exercise their right to vote.
The survey was conducted from 22 to 29 March, 2023, and commissioned by Nova Broadcasting Group among 1,004 citizens over the age of 18 using the method of direct semi-standardized face-to-face interview using a tablet.
