President Rumen Radev, Vice President Iliana Iotova and caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev voted in the early parliamentary elections.

"I expect reason and principles to prevail in Bulgarian politics, which must put the interests of the citizens and the future of the country first," the Head of State said and urged people to vote and not let someone else decide their fate.

The Vice President voiced her hope that the new National Assembly will quickly get down to the business of forming the budget, which will be adopted, and then form a regular government. "I voted for us to overcome the political crisis and put an end to any new early elections," she added.

The caretaker prime minister also urged the voters to exercise their right as citizens so that there is representation in the 49th parliament and a regular cabinet is formed. He said the elections were going on normally and there were no major irregularities.
