Election day in the Netherlands is proceeding smoothly. 23 polling stations opened there today for the Bulgarian parliamentary vote. Usually, between 350 and 700 Bulgarians vote in The Hague, Martin Petrov, a member of one of the two election commissions opened in the Bulgarian embassy, told Radio Bulgaria. There are a total of 4 sections in the city.
"We have been commenting with other CEC members that we are seeing some rise in voter turnout compared to previous elections, which makes me think that people are voting with the hope that we will have a regular government."
According to Kolev, the upcoming Catholic Easter next week has had no influence on those who have decided to vote.
