Bulgaria’s juniour women’s sabre team won the bronze medals at the 2023 Juniour and Cadet Fencing World Championships in Plovdiv. The team consisting of Kalina Atanasova, Beloslava Ivanova, Ana Mihaylova and Emma Neykova, coached by Ivaylo Vodenov, earned the bronze in competition with 28 teams and opened a new chapter in the history of Bulgarian fencing.
The young athletes played with confidence and skill, and deservedly stepped on the podium, thus achieving the greatest success in junior women's team fencing at world championships.
