Krum Zarkov: There is no reason for the elections to be annulled

"Despite the erroneous precinct protocols, there are no grounds for the annulment of the elections for the 49th National Assembly," said the interim Minister of Justice Krum Zarkov.

According to him, the erroneous protocols and invalid ballots in the early parliamentary elections on April 2 were a result of the reinstatement of paper ballots, not the organisation of the vote. He also reminded the journalists that all parties acknowledged the results. "We are waiting for the analysis of the Central Election Commission and the CEC's Public Council and I hope that the next parliament will read this analysis carefully and make amendments if necessary," Zarkov said.
