We are working flat out to support the construction of industrial zones. This was stated by the Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev at the national meeting "Industrial Zones - Growth for Municipalities and Regions" in Sofia, which was attended by local government representatives.

The event is in connection with Bulgaria's upcoming application for the development of industrial zones and parks under one of the procedures which will be financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan with a budget just over €100 million. /The size of the minimum grant for a project is €500 thousand/.

"A lot of people ask me why Bulgaria has not so far been able to compete for a key strategic investor in the Manufacturing segment. The answer is clear - until now the state had not created the prerequisites for attracting such investors. We have lacked a proactive position," Pulev said.
