The MPs resumed the first sitting of parliament interrupted yesterday after they were unable to elect a president of the 49th National Assembly. “We are continuing the sitting from yesterday,” said Vezhdi Rashidov who chaired the sitting, and asked whether there were any other nominations for president of parliament. When no nominations were forwarded, Rashidov scheduled the next sitting for 19 April.
