2,200 Easter eggs were blessed in Veliko Tarnovo

During the Holy Liturgy on Maundy Thursday in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, Metropolitan Gregory of Veliko Tarnovo blessed over 2,200 Easter eggs.

Together with over 200 kozunaks, they will be distributed on the night of Easter in front of the Tsarevets fortress, as well as in the Resurrection of Christ church. Part of them will also go to those living in the homes for the elderly in Veliko Tarnovo and in the village of Balvan, the municipality reports. The eggs and cakes have been donated by various companies.
