Today is Orthodox Good Friday-the saddest of days. Orthodox Christians fill the temples across the country and remember the suffering, the crucifixion and the death on the cross of Jesus Christ. In the evening, a special service is held with the participation of all priests in the church. The Holy Shroud, a symbol of Christ’s Tomb, is taken out of the churches.
