Ankara will build a bridge over the Rezovska River to connect Turkey with Bulgaria and the Bulgarian side has already approved the project, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said.

Initially, the bridge will be for pedestrians only, but at a later stage it may be opened to cars. Soylu announced the news during a charity dinner organised by Bulturk, one of the most influential NGOs of Bulgarian expatriates in Turkey. He noted that relations between the two neighbouring countries, Bulgaria and Turkey, are very good, Nahit Dogu reports for BNR.
