New loan from IMF is just a hypothesis, Minister of Agriculture says

"Whatever the budget is, things will be difficult," caretaker Minister of Agriculture Yavor Gechev told BNR. "Whether the deficit is 3% or 6%, the money will not be enough to implement policies to catch up with Europe," Gechev added.

"The budget reflects the rise in social spending. The figures show that the deficit will be 6.4%. Everything is in the hands of the MPs; they are elected to make the specific decisions," Gechev also said.

A new loan from the International Monetary Fund is a very extreme scenario, just a hypothesis. We are very far from that, Deputy Prime Minister for European funds, Atanas Pekanov, told Nova TV.
