President Radev will not rush the mandate to form a government

The political situation is complicated enough. It requires a very careful approach, dialogue and common sense from all responsible factors, said President Rumen Radev. Unlike the previous one, the 49th Bulgarian Parliament, even without a government, cannot afford not to pass critically important laws, the president said.

"We will also improve the diplomatic breakthrough achieved in recent months for our acceptance into Schengen already this year," added the head of state.
According to him, the parliament needs time to be able to adopt at least the most important laws, and the budget introduced by the caretaker government is a test of the competence, political maturity and statesmanship of all parties with ambitions for power.
