President Rumen Radev did not say when he is going to hand GERB/SDS the first exploratory mandate for the formation of a government, but he did warn that that the time window of the 49th National Assembly could close quickly unless a cabinet is formed.
“I expect there to be dialogue, a willingness to compromise,” Rumen Radev stated, and added that the Constitution does not set down a deadline for handing over the first mandate, but that this process cannot be stretched out indefinitely.
