The Bulgarian authorities are still waiting for official information from Moscow on the identity and whereabouts of the Bulgarian citizen detained by the Russian authorities, caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov said at an emergency briefing.
Yesterday, TASS news agency reported that the Russian Federal Security Service had arrested seven people allegedly involved in a Ukrainian military intelligence plan to assassinate Russian leaders in occupied Crimea. One of the arrested was reported to be of Ukrainian and Bulgarian citizenship. Minister Kondov did not confirm the information that it was Denis Petranov, as his wife Marina claims.
