Russia is considering and has a wide variety of different options to respond to Kyiv's attempt to attack the Kremlin with drones, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced. He declined to give specific details. Peskov stressed that "decisions about such attacks are not made in Kyiv, but in Washington."

The US is not conducting any investigation into the recent drone attack on the Kremlin, but is trying to determine the circumstances of the incident, said John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications at the White House National Security Council.

"We will try to find out more about what happened, but I urge you not to call it an investigation," Kirby said at a briefing. Earlier, Kirby denied that the United States was involved in the drone attack on the Kremlin, reports Reuters.

Relations between Russia and the United States are on the verge of an open armed conflict, but Moscow is working to prevent this from happening, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Channel One. According to him, contacts between Moscow and Washington are maintained when necessary, including at a high level.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell warned Moscow against using the alleged drone attack on the Kremlin to escalate its war in Ukraine, reported AFP.
