Varna welcomes first foreign tourists

Photo: Varna airport

The first tourists landed at the airport in Varna on the Black Sea today on board a flight from Luxembourg, and were welcomed with a water arc, BNR-Varna reports.

The first charter flights from Germany begin in mid-May, and a week later – from Poland. After a 3-year pause, the flights from Helsinki will resume as of the beginning of June. Once again this year, Varna airport will welcome two more airline companies with charter flights – from Tel Aviv and Copenhagen. For the first time there will be direct flights from Karlovy Vary in Czechia to Varna, there will also be flights from Warsaw, Krakow and Belgrade.
