After 28 years and more than 10 albums with Mary Boys Band, Maria Mutafchieva is now releasing her first solo album entitled “Keep dreaming”, which she is to present on stage in Sofia on 13 May.
“I created this album at a time that is important to me – last year I celebrated my jubilee, so I am dedicating this album to my 30 years on the musical stage,” says Mary and adds:
“Each one of my songs presents me the way I was in the year I released it as a single: “A fairytale for us” is from 2012, then came “Rainy days”, “In my heart”, “Gentle secret”… Every one of these songs could have given the album its title, but I chose to call it “Keep dreaming” because I believe that this is the message people are in need of today.”
At the album’s presentation on 13 May, Mary will be joined on stage by the boys from Mary Boys Band, her daughter RIA, young singer-songwriter Alexander Georgiev - A.L.E.K.S., and tenor Mario Nikolov. Together, they will perform songs from the album, as well as some of the Mary Boys Band hits their fans know and love.
Keep dreaming!
