President Rumen Radev will be expecting GERB-SDS leadership at the Presidency on 22 May with a fulfilled mandate, a structure and a cabinet, the Head of State told journalists in Yambol. However, he pointed out that in order to have a working government, it is necessary to have a sustainable policy.
The total number of deputies from GERB-SDS, MRF and ITN in the National Assembly is 116, which is 5 votes less than the required majority in the 240-member parliament.

On the five votes sought by GERB-SDS for a parliamentary majority, he stressed, "It is not a question of seeking, it is not a question of lottery. What they need is a sustainable policy, they need to have clear principles set on a solid foundation."

Mr Radev is in Yambol for the "Sport with the President" initiative and the morning gymnastics tournament, which is being held there for the second year.
