A big festive concert was held in Cyprus today bringing together many Bulgarians, children, parents, teachers to mark the upcoming Day of Bulgarian Culture, Education and Letters - May 24.
It was part of the 25th edition of the Days of Bulgarian Culture in Cyprus and became the culmination of the program of the two-day visit of Bulgaria's Vice President liana Iotova to Cyprus, where she participated in the celebrations of the Bulgarian community and Bulgarian schools, BNR's correspondent in Cyprus Branislava Bobanats reported.
The Bulgarians in Cyprus not only keep the Bulgarian spirit in themselves, but also build bridges to other peoples, said Vice President Iliana Iotova, addressing the people who filled the square in front of the concert stage.
Bulgaria's Vice President Iliana Iotova joined the students and teachers from the Bulgarian school "Rodna stryaha" in the Cypriot city of Aradippou.
