The leader of GERB Boyko Borissov announced in parliament that he will continue to support the formation of a rotational government with We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria irrespective of whether any recordings will be made public on Friday. According to Boyko Borissov, We Continue the Change Co-chairperson Kiril Petkov should not have commented on unlawful wiretapping. In his words, the latest scandal aims to impede the formation of a government.

In a declaration, the leader of Vazrazhdane party Kostadin Kostadinov accused the leadership of We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria of treason and called for new elections. "There is a phrase in the recordings which, according to Radostin Vassilev, is attributed to Kiril Petkov: “The future heads of services have already been agreed with the ambassadors"." When there is such a sentence, it means that a high treason is in place. This is a crime under Chapter 1 of the Penal Code", said Kostadin Kostadinov.
