Zornitsa Slavova and S-MO win BNR Spring ’23 music contest

Zornitsa Slavova and S-MO won the Grand Prix at the Spring ’23 Bulgarian Pop and Rock Music contest.


Among the 12 songs that reached the finals of the 54th edition of the music contest, the winner earned the vote of the jury with the song Choices. The music, lyrics and the arrangement is by Zornitsa Slavova. The award includes the opportunity to record their new music at the BNR’s studio No. 2. The winners received the award from the BNR’s director General Milen Mitev.


“Even though we have a winner, all finalists are winners tonight,” Milen Mitev said. The award for debut song went to the band BOIL and their song Scary Grey. The trio TRIGADA were selected to represent Bulgaria at the Eurosonic festival in Groningen, Netherlands.
