The Parliament adopted at first reading changes to the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act. They introduce measures for implementing European regulations for use of the Schengen Information System for the purpose of returning illegally residing people from third countries.
Emphasis is placed on reports of missing and vulnerable persons who should be prevented from traveling to ensure their protection or to prevent threats to public safety and order.
