“All our thoughts are with the victims and their families,” world-famous artist Theodore Ushev wrote on Facebook, as he announced that the exhibition “Matter of memory”, scheduled for 8 June, is being cancelled.

That whatever we may try to do, say, help, console, there will always be monsters around us who will pull the human race towards malice, hate, the deprivation of destruction,” the Bulgarian artist writes, and extends his sympathy to the families of the six victims of the terrorist, four of them children. “Human nature disgusts me, humanity disgusts me.
