Constitutional reform must be carried out with the highest possible support from the Bulgarian citizens. According to Ekaterina Zaharieva, MP of GERB-SDS and former justice minister, such a support could be shown through the political parties in the parliament.

On the air of BNR, Zaharieva pointed out that talks should be held with all political parties on this issue. In order to change the Constitution, 180 votes are needed, which means that the current coalition needs the votes of BSP.
