The Plovdiv Opera will celebrate the anniversary of the tenth edition of the OPERA OPEN festival, presenting some of its iconic performances.

Over 300 Bulgarian and international artists will be performing on the stage of the Ancient Theatre in Bulgaria's second-biggest city from today until August 18.

The program is arranged in three sections – opera and ballet, classical and jazz, musical and rock.

At the opening tonight under the baton of conductor Dian Chobanov, music by Hector Berlioz and Dimitar Nenov will be heard, united in the audio-musical performance "Symphonic Fantasy".
