Ivayla Bozhanova, prominent translator from and into English, long-time journalist at the BNR, Sofia Press’ Balkan Information Pool, Nardodna Mladezh newspaper, has died at the age of 70.
Born on 7 September, 1952, Ivayla was a member of the staff of Radio Bulgaria’s English service as editor of the English-language programmes. She is also known for her remarkable translations of English-language literature.
