A group of young people who want to raise public awareness of children on the autistic spectrum have organized a charity festival "Spectrum" in Veliko Tarnovo today.

In the Marno Pole park, there are open-air drawing sessions, art workshops, consultations with resource teachers.

Drawings of the "colourful" children are also shown, and from 6:30 p.m. a charity concert will be held in the summer theatre in support of their families.

"We see that society treats them in a terrible way, does not understand them and this is a consequence of people's low awareness of this condition. We can help make them inclusive - there's nothing to be ashamed of, it's not a disease. We are all human," said 16-year-old Raya Yordanova and 17-year-old Viktoria Velcheva, who are at the heart of the festival.
