Prime Minister threatens to resign, but hopes that ruling majority will reach agreement

If processes did not go well, I would resign, as well as a large part of the ministers who entered this government to do their jobs, said Prime Minister Academician Nikolai Denkov at the First Annual Conference of the Council for Economic Analysis.

"The work in the Council of Ministers is proceeding in a rather constructive spirit. We discuss everything calmly and with arguments. The issue is rather related to the implementation of the legislative program in the parliament. I will join the talks between the parliamentary groups and I expect that there will be a meeting as soon as possible," the Prime Minister said.

"The process of appointments causes tension. I have explained what this process is - consensus is sought, which slows it down. If the process wasn't going like that, I would have appointed all the deputy ministers and regional governors a long time ago," Nikolai Denkov said.
